How do you know whether or not your quality of service is up-to-par with the industry standard? Most professionals would answer that question by saying that they measure their quality of service through customer feedback and retention. However, just basing your quality score off a few clients is never truly going to show you a comprehensive picture of how your services are being received.

For all Physicians, an effective survey can make a significant difference. Getting valuable feedback can not only help you improve your quality standards but also help widen your growing market for patients as you reach out to more people. It will be important to test and modify these surveys as you get results and feedback. It is important to have a place in your survey for the people being surveyed to give their opinions about the survey.

In this chapter, I have discussed the importance of conducting patient satisfaction surveys, methods and ways to conduct the survey, and what topics your survey should focus on.
